A little before 3 PM on Tuesday, a 4Chan user started a thread that read, “Turns out its way harder to strangle someone to death than it looks on the movies.” They attached photos of a seemingly dead, naked woman lying on a bed. She looked to have been strangled.
The user followed up with, “She fought so Damn hard,” and told everyone, “Check the news for port orchard Washington in a few hours. Her son will be home from school soon. He’ll find her, then call the cops. I just wanted to share the pics before they find me. I bought a bb gun that looks realistic enough. When they come, I’ll pull it and it will be suicide by cop. I understand the doubts. Just check the fucking news. I have to lose my phone now.”
The post was met with skepticism, but a few hours later, it was confirmed. Reports began coming out that deputies in Kitsap County were conducting an investigation into the suspicious death of a woman in her 30s.
A family member discovered her body at about 3:30 p.m. and called police.
Investigators said that based on the crime scene, the death appears to be a homicide.
The sheriff’s office said that her car is missing. It is described as a gold 2001 Ford Focus with black wheel rims and WA license 495-YLY.
Henry Rosoff, a KIRO 7 News reporter confirmed that police are investigating the connection to 4chan.
A family friend identified the woman as Amber on Facebook.

A search for the vehicle has reached all the way to California. Authorities are also aware that the suspect may be planning suicide by cop. This insane story is, as they say, still developing.

How is the title misleading? Unless you actually thought they’d repost the photos the murderer originally posted of the woman’s dead body, and you’re disappointed you can’t gawk at them, you sick freak!

This title is misleading because it was not a group of users, it was one user who claimed responsibility. This place makes out that there is some sort of murder conspiracy – using a plural term inappropriately. Trying to garner a larger reaction off the backs of a horrible murder is sick.
