Microsoft Sucks at Promotional Campaigns

Microsoft was hoping they’d be able to promote their Surface tablets on CNN last night during the mid-term election. CNN commentators had other ideas in mind. Namely, using the Surface tablets as iPad stands instead. Survey says: They’re decent iPad stands. Not the best, but not the worst either.

This comes after NLF sportscasters described them as iPad-like tools.

I wonder how many dents are on the doors at Microsoft from marketers repeatedly banging their heads against them.

So CNN will be sued for allowing anything other than a Surface on the broadcast. Unless Microsoft didn’t have an exclusivity contract.
