Leonard Nimoy retired to the Starship in the sky today, passing away from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease at age 83. Nimoy was rushed to the hospital last week for heart pains. Nimoy blamed years of smoking on his poor health. Celebrities sent their condolences over social media today upon learning of the news.
