Hugh Jackman Explains the Wolverine Breakup, ‘It’s Not You, It’s Me’

Oh ripped, shirtless Hugh Jackman, how we will miss your toned bod on the silver screen as Wolverine. In this frustrating breakup, you have left us with more questions than answers.

Our Australian silver fox admitted on the Dr. Oz show this week,

“It just felt like it was the right time to do it. And let’s be honest, 17 years. I never thought in a million years it would last.”

At least you’ve left us with one last film to make the break easier, Wolverine 3. We’ve even heard there’s still a chance we’ll see you in X-men: Apocalypse, the end of Brian Singer’s X-Men universe. Wolverine has been killed in the comics before so, even if that happens, we’ll still wait for you.

“I’m so grateful to the fans for the opportunity of playing it. I kind of have in my head what we’re going to do in this last one. It just feels like this is the perfect way to go out.”

At least you’re grateful for the time we’ve had together. Thank god for Google images.
