Kristen Stewart Dates First Girl Since Robert Pattinson

Two years after the fateful Twilight split, Kristen Stewart finds love with her personal assistant, Alicia Cargile, marking the most feminine significant other she’s had since Robert Pattinson. Yeah Rob, you glittered in the sunlight as a romantic vampire once; we’re not over it yet.

Kristen spoke with Conan in April,

“There’s so much isolation and protection that has to happen. So then you end up, kind of like, hiring a buddy, a confidante, like, somebody to organize your schedule, but in addition to that, like kind of like, live with you essentially.”

Apparently this has worked for K-Stew because she and Cargile are very happy according to Stewart’s mom who doesn’t understand the controversy over the same-sex relationship. “What’s not to be accepting about her now having a girlfriend? She’s happy,” Jules Stewart stated. Are we reaching a day where this is the parental reaction to same-sex relationships or is this just a “my mom is a Hollywood script supervisor thing?”

The Sunday Mirror really harped on the issue of Jules’ acceptance which seems to be non-concern for the mother, as you can just hear the annoyance in each of her responses. “What’s not to be accepting about her now having a girlfriend? She’s happy. She’s my daughter, I’m just her mom so she knows I would accept her choices.” To be fair, Jules, not everyone has that luxury but, we’re seeing The Mirror was really hoping you’d feel differently.

After they finished badgering Jules about Kristen’s new love, they decided they couldn’t leave out the old love. I mean, Kristen and Rob? It was meant to be… in the hearts of Twilight loving youths everywhere. Jules talked of the downfall of public relationships and totally left out the part where Stew-y got caught playing tonsil hockey with her 44-year old director. Now there is a public eye problem.

In the vein of her mother, I’m gonna wish you a mazel tov on this K-Town and Alicia. It doesn’t matter if you’re with a boy or a girl, Kristen, as long as you’re still scowling happily. Godspeed.
