Once you’ve been a star on The Cosby Show, what is there really left for you to do? No, not get pelted with sexual assault allegations. The other Cosby, Raven-Symoné. Yeah, she had her own show on the Disney Channel, but it’s all just been part of the climb to her peak as the newest The View co-host.
In what seems to be an effort to transform their show to the level of The Talk, executive producer Barbara Walters is excited to make her show so Raven.
“She is happy, amusing and well informed, and has already brought a unique perspective to the program that has resonated with our audience.”
Symoné has been appearing sporadically at the table for the past months and will now be joining Walters, Whoopi Goldberg, Nicolle Wallace and Rosie Perez at a permanent seat.
“Being a part of The View family will be a wonderful growing experience for me. The cast and crew are warm and welcoming and has made the transition into daytime talk easier. I have a lot to learn within this new arena, but being the apprentice of these spectacular women will only make me a better person and talk show host.”
Is it just me or does sitting around a table shouting opinions seem like maybe not the hardest job requiring a transition period?
In a slightly less expensive move, they could just buy a cardboard cut-out of her making this face to encompass all her views. “And what do you think, Raven?”
or this one:
JK I’m way on board with Symoné on the show as long as she maintains her So Raven personality. Those are the kind of theatrical bulging eyeballs I could watch on TV err’yday; let’s make this soooo Raven.
