‘Alice Through the Looking Glass’ Teaser Posters Revealed

Used to be trailers were a big event. Then, they put out teaser trailers. Now, teaser posters have become a thing. Disney revealed the first poster from the upcoming sequel to Alice in Wonderland, Alice Through the Looking Glass. They showed off the posters at their D23 convention, basically Disney’s answer to Comic-Con.

Sean Bailey, Disney’s president of production, also gave a brief overview of the movie. Johnny Depp reprises his role as the Mad Hatter, and new cast member, Sasha Baron Cohen, plays Time. That part is interesting. Alice will need Time’s help to “help her travel back to save the Mad Hatter.” The movie “will involve time travel, allowing Alice to see characters from the original at different stages in their lives.”

Bailey then brought out Mia Wasikowska, who plays Alice. Wasikowska gave a few words about her experience filmiing the sequel.

“I grew up watching all of them, so I have such an affection for them and it’s been almost six years since we did the last film. So, to be able to reunite with Helena and Johnny and Anne, it was lovely and we all get along really well so it was just really fun.”

Alice Through the Looking Glass comes out May 27, 2016, sooo, stare at those posters for a little longer.
