Idiot Mocks DWI Charges by Driving Around in Barbie Jeep

The Internet’s blowing up over Tara Monroe and her pink Barbie Jeep. Monroe refused a breathalyzer test after a Waka Flocka Flame concert. That was poor life choice #1 right there. This caused an automatic suspension of her license. The 20-year old industrial engineering major was also arrested for DWI charges. This all happened in March.

She couldn’t drive and all she had was a bike to get to classes. Obviously not good enough.

“Riding a bike around campus sucks,” she told MySA.com. “Like really sucks.”

Evidently not wanting to hoof it, Monroe went on Craigslist and scoped out a stunning, pink Barbie jeep. Sixty bucks got here a used children’s vehicle from a girl named Charlene. Charlene was confused when they met up.

“When we drove up to buy it Charlene asked where the little one was to test drive it to which I replied, ‘I am the little one,’” she said.

Now, Monroe tools around University of Texas at Austin’s West Campus and Texas State in her sweet ride. People get on Snapchat or Twitter and take pics of the oversize human in the tiny child’s car.

Large people and tiny objects. Always good for laughs except when that human is an ex-drunk driver using a toy car for kicks. Monroe continues to have a tin ear and laughs about her 15 minutes of fame (which is her term for what’s going on).

“Most people don’t find the things me and my friends do very funny, just immature, so I didn’t expect to get this big of a reaction,” she said. “People who don’t know me are shocked but my friends weren’t even surprised because I do stuff like this all the time.”

Is she an idiot? Hell yes. Only an idiot would say this after getting a DWI:

“This is the best way I could have gotten my 15 minutes of fame…Basically, it was the best decision I’ve made in college, yet…”

Hope she doesn’t run into a drunk driving non-Barbie Jeep while she’s out there scoot-scooting to and fro in her toy machine. That would be a blast of irony right there.
