American Who Stopped French Terror Attack Stabbed in California

Karma’s got it wrong, this time. Spencer Stone, one of three Americans who bravely squashed a terrorist attack on a French train in August was repeatedly stabbed near Sacramento on October 7th. The 23-year old airman in the US Airforce, along with two other Americans, tackled gunman Ayoub El-Khazzani to the ground during a Paris to Amsterdam train on August 21. #Squadgoals.

After what was reported to the police as a fight, during which a man was stabbed multiple times in the chest, Stone was taken to the hospital, reportedly in critical condition. NBC News reports that he is currently alive and in stable condition, but there’s no details out on the fight itself that led to the skewering. Get well soon, Spencer Stone.
