Things seem to be heating up over at the The Voice between newly divorced co-hosts Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani. The pair have always had good chemistry, I’ve never seen the show but my understanding is that all Shelton does is flirt with people, co-host or contestant.
Shelton’s divorce with my favorite contemporary country singer, Miranda Lambert, was finalized in July, on the same day they released a statement saying their marriage was over. There were rumors of infidelity, but Shelton and Lambert have continued a friendly rapport, joking and flirting over Twitter.
Stefani and Bush frontman, Gavin Rossdale, announced their split in August after 13 years together. The couple have three sons together and said in their statement that they “are committed to jointly raising our three sons in a happy and healthy environment.” However, their union never resulted in a prenup and Rossdale has apparently grown accustomed to a certain standard of living.
All the sources quoted are saying something different, so I think it’s pretty likely this isn’t happening. Stefani is also, like, really cool? Not that I’m saying Shelton isn’t, but I don’t think he would have let the names Kingston, Zuma, and Apollo fly. I just don’t see a future for these two. But I guess if you’re just divorced and trying to have fun, it’s definitely a smart idea to hook up with a co-worker.
