A Dude Named Phuc Dat Bich Keeps Getting His Facebook Shut Down

This has definitely happened before and will happen again but this time an Australian man named Phuc Dat Bich has posted an angry rant to his Facebook because they keep shutting down his account, because his name seems fake.

“I find it highly irritating the fact that nobody seems to believe me when I say that my full legal name is how you see it. I’ve been accused of using a false and misleading name of which I find very offensive. Is it because I’m Asian? Is it?
Having my fb shut down multiple times and forced to change my name to my “real” name, so just to put it out there. My name.

Yours sincerely,
Phuc Dat Bich”

Poor dude. Bich is of Vietnamese descent and no, his name is not pronounced how you think, it’s “Phoo Da Bic” but I guess that’s not really funny, is it? His number of Facebook followers has jumped significantly since his posting, it’s currently hovering over 22,000 people.

Facebook’s “real name” policy has been under fire already this year because of how difficult it is for trans people to change their names once they begin to publicly transition. Two weeks ago they made a revision, allowing Facebook users to submit proof of evidence should they wish to change their name… or to prove that their name is really their name.
