‘Prometheus’ Sequels Will Reveal Who Created Aliens

Alien is like my favorite movie. It’s incredible, we all know this. Prometheus took a couple viewings but it got me too, I love that movie. STOP HERE.

While going around talking about The Martian, director Ridley Scott has also been letting some info about his upcoming Prometheus sequel Alien: Paradise Lost and that after THAT movie there will be another sequel, which will catch us up to 1979’s Alien.

Despite most people I know loving Aliens maybe even more than its predecessor, Scott has some regrets about the way the original sequels turned out.

“I’m trying to keep this for myself. I let the other one [Alien] get away from me – I shouldn’t have… I’m trying to re-resurrect the beast and let if off the hook for a while because I’m coming back into the back-end of Alien 1. I’m gradually getting to Alien 1.”

But like…. Have a new idea? You had many cool ideas back in the day, have a new one now or make room for the people who do. Not every old movie man has to turn into George Lucas and ruin the thing that made him great.

“Prometheus 2 will start getting shot in February and I’ve already begun now so I know what the script is. Then there will be another one after that and then maybe we’ll back into Alien 1, as to why? Who would make such a dreadful thing?”

Do we care? Isn’t the scariest part of Alien, and anything for that matter, that we don’t know why?

We already know that the engineers made the xenomorphs and the humans. The question we will likely be seeing answered is who created the engineers considering Scott has been saying in every interview since prometheus that the question people should be asking at the end is “do the engineers know who created them?”
