Jon Stewart Trumps Trump With His Return to Late Night

Over the last four months, television has felt a devastating loss; Jon Stewart bid farewell to 16 years of nightly Comedy Central broadcasts and left The Daily Show.

With a disgusting number of mass shootings, terrorists attacks, bigoted campaign trails and the fickle schedule of Last Week Tonight, the absence of Jon Stewart has been felt deeply. Perhaps having felt the public yearning for his presence, the craving his poignant insights and all-too-accurate satire deliver… Jon Stewart returned to late night television via The Late Show on Thursday night.

Donning a lustrous, combed over blond wig and Cheetos powder contours, Jon Stewart take on Donald Trump’s ever effective, oddly charismatic (if you don’t listen to his words) persona to draw attention to the need for continuing healthcare 9/11 first responders in the Zadroga Act.

Trumping it up a notch, Jon Stewart–elegantly casual with a blazer sans tie–shouts his message:

Don’t let Congress play politics with this necessary bill. If I’m elected, and I will be elected (*panic vomit*)…………….. I will build a wall around politics and it will make politics pay for it. Tweet at your Congressman #WorstResponders, pull up your big boy pants and make America great again.

There it is. If you have any message you want to share, you just got to Trump. It. Up.  You have to employ ad hominem tactics and you have to be the loudest person in the room.
