DJ Earworm’s annual ‘United State of Pop’ mash-up is here, and while he kinda does manage to polish up some turds, the feeling that you’re listening to s**t is still pretty much there.
This yearly mashup from San Francisco’s Jordan “DJ Earworm” Roseman takes little snippets of the 50 biggest hits of the year and skillfully hammers them into a slightly more tolerable form. [Ed. note: DJ Earworm calls this year’s mash-up, “United State Of Pop 2015 (50 Shades Of Pop)”]
While, as a music nerd, this is cool to me because it allows you to reflect on a whole year of popular music, I have reflected on technical manuals more interesting than 95% of the current pop landscape.
So like if you wanted to listen to Justin Bieber, Rihanna, Taylor Swift, Adele, Ellie Goulding, Drake, Nicki Minaj, and a whole bunch of artists who we all heard of and forgot about instantly, check this out.
