Stacey Dash Ignites Controversy Again: ‘We Need to Get Rid of Black History Month’

In other news, Stacey Dash continues to disappoint without any understanding of historical significance and impact of racism in the United States. The Outnumbered Fox News correspondent has been no stranger to controversy since her role in Clueless, having recently been suspended by Fox News for unsavory comments said on air.

Following the MLK Day posts from Jada Pinkett Smith and Spike Lee, Dash has once again spoke out against the boycott, calling public outrage about the soundly white list of Academy Awards nominees “ludicrous.”

According to Dash, to talk about race or to make race an issue at all is racism. She ludicrously shares:

Either we want segregation or integration. And if we don’t want segregation, then we need to get rid of channels like BET and the BET Awards and the Image Awards where you’re only awarded if you’re black.

Yes, to acknowledge a race that has been systematically whitewashed and oppressed for generations is racist.

I’m glad your charmed life as a C-List celebrity turned rightist propaganda news correspondent has left you untouched by the garden of terrors set in place for people of color.

She continued to prod at the public via Twitter:

To critics of #OscarsSoWhite, two black people agreeing with your misguided base does not mean validation.

Because white people have shown year after year that she’s better than their colorful counterparts? Or have people just given her whiteness more attention?
