Manny Pacquiao Dropped by Nike and on Twitter for Anti-Gay Remarks

Manny Pacquiao doesn’t only have his upcoming retirement bout against Timothy Bradley coming up, but he’s also running for a Senate seat in the Philippines. Currently he’s making headlines for the video taken of him defending his stance against same-sex marriage.

While he’s made an apology since due to the incredible backlash, the original statement is pretty fucking dumb.

“It’s common sense. Do you see any animals that go male to male, or female to female?”

Yeah actually. There are countless species of animals that do all kinds of gay s**t. That’s science, bitch.

“So the animals are even better. Because they know how to distinguish from male to male or female to female. Right?”

But not all of them do. There’s everything from gay ass swans to bisexual penguins. Read a book, dude. Google something.

“Now if we allow male to male or female to female, then that makes us worse than animals.”

Even though he apologized, Nike is still cutting ties with him and twitter well….has pretty much been twitter.
