In case you thought a little bit of fame, a good stylist and pretty face could make a guy any less creepy, let Jeremy Piven tell you otherwise. The actor is accused of bombarding ex-girlfriend Kate Nardi with creepy texts.
Now first off, per Page Six, the accusations come from Justin Ross Lee, Nardi’s current beau. I’m not saying that Piven doesn’t have it in him to be creepy, all dudes inherently do, but a territorial new boyfriend is more likely to upgrade the set of accusations especially when against an ex.
Lee took his accusations public via his Instagram prefacing:
Before I met Kate, she dated Jeremy Piven. I was always a fan and totally fine with that, except lately the guy will not stop texting her, and has become really creepy.
So the new boyfriend doesn’t like that the ex-boyfriend still tries to talk to a woman of her own free will. Lee, who is known for his jet setting [ed. note: he comes off really douchey on his Instagram], says Piven still offers Nardi things.
He keeps offering to fly her places, like, ‘Do you want to come to London?’ and he keeps asking her to dinner.
No, thanks. Do you know who I am? This is my Justin Ross Lee impression. I’m a jetsetter, a world traveler, bitch has already got that covered. And just to solidify the accusations of potential creepiness, Lee throws in a cheap anecdote of ‘I’ll show you mine if you show me yours’:
In one text, Piven allegedly sent a pic to Nardi, saying “in case you forgot,” and asks for one in return.
It doesn’t seem so far-fetched. I mean, it totally could have happened, but Nardi has yet to share a word on the incident. On the other hand, Piven, through the mouth of a rep, says that the two have not been in contact since they split in 2013.
