The Grammys are Happening — Here’s a Rundown

On a positive note, the Grammys have better performers this year. It’s still pretty boring.

Taylor Swift opened the show with “Out of the Woods.” The song reminds me of something from The Lion King.

Something you won’t see tonight:

Kanye and Taylor went back to hating each other.

The Weeknd did “Can’t Feel My Face” / “In The Night”. The worst part is hearing Ariana Grande introduce. Her nasally voice bugs.

“Can’t Feel My Face” stil sounds good even after being played sixty million times.

Andra Day & Ellie Goulding came out to sing snippets of their songs “Rise Up” and “Love Me Like You Do”.

Tori Kelly and James Bay did their songs, “Hollow” and “Let It Go,” respectively. They are also the answers to “Who will not be remembered in 5 years?” You can also catch the Hamilton cast do “Alexander Hamilton.” I have no idea this musical existed.

I’m more excited that Courtney Barnett’s nominated for Best New Artist.

Pharrell went blonde?

Adele sang “All I Ask.” Bruno Mars introduced her and what? He co-wrote the song? Cha-ching!

Adele’s the new Karen Carpenter of this generation. Or the white Whitney Houston. Can’t deny that she’s talented. Adele sings at the 4:30 mark.

Uggh, Ariana Grande again. At least Katy Perry balances Grande’s obnoxiousness out.
