Watch Shia LaBeouf Ride an Elevator for 24 Hours for #Art

Thank you, Shia LaBeouf.

Shia LaBeouf gets up some s**t. Whether you get to watch him watch his own films or visit him at an art exhibit in LA and assault him if you want, he is probably the only famous person I can think of alive right now that actually uses their fame to do anything interesting.

While a lot of people are exploring where fame and the internet intersect, he’s the only one doing it without trying to sell a bunch of s**t, which is pretty refreshing.

This current LaBeoufian walk on the wild side called #ELEVATE involves him and two performance artists, Nastja Säde Rönkkö and Luke Turner, spending 24 hours inside an elevator in Oxford, England.

In true LaBeouf fashion, he’s live-streaming the entire thing, but you can only see him when the doors open. Fans are invited to come hang out with them, chill in the elevator, take selfies, and ask questions.

Following this piece, the trio will address the Oxford Union on Friday night. Then they will get back in the elevator to finish it up.
