Adele Shared Some Choice Words for Brussels Attackers

When Adele is belting her hit singles, she’s reminding her fans that she is deserving of their worship. Just a day after Adele paused her concert for a twerking episode, the singer took pause to share some choice words for the Brussels attackers. With at least 34 people dead in another Daesh-motivated terrorist attack on the EU, Adele fired up her crowd in a beautiful rallying cry:

Let’s make enough noise so they can hear us from here, right? We’re all here for the same reason. I’m hoping you’ve all come to be entertained by me. I’m here to entertain you, so we’re all united, so that makes us much better than them fuckers. You’re on your own, you fuckers.

As if that weren’t moving enough, Adele did what we all do when we’re down in the dumps, desperately try to dig ourselves out. With audience cell phone screens lit in solidarity, Adele performed the only rendition of Bob Dylan’s “Make You Feel My Love” to ever stand up against the original. And just like that, London’s O2 Arena turned into a Girl Scout campfire crossed with a Bernie Sanders rally with thousands of people singing in tandem. Adele chose the perfect time to use concision and let the moment speak for itself:

This is “Make You Feel My Love,” and this is for Brussels tonight.
