Cop Hid a Knife Found at O.J. Simpson Estate Years Ago and Now They’re Testing It

LAPD. To protect and serve and hide evidence. That doesn’t have a nice ring to it and it doesn’t fit on the side of a car. It’s true though.

Really crazy news today in the Nicole Simpson and Ron Goldman murder case. The one where O.J. Simpson allegedly killed the two in a jealous rage.

There was never any definite murder weapon in the trial that tied O.J. to the murders. Now, though, LAPD are testing a knife that an LAPD cop has been holding onto for years. One that was found and given to him by a construction worker when Simpon’s house was being demolished. According to TMZ:

We’re told a construction worker found the knife years ago — we have heard several different stories, ranging from “several years ago” to 1998, when the house was demolished.

The weapon is a folding buck knife.

Our law enforcement sources say the construction worker took the knife to the street, where he saw an LAPD cop. He told the officer where he found the knife and the cop took it.

Naturally, he did what any upstanding cop would do. He took it home and hoarded a potential murder weapon in one of the most famous trials of this generation.

Turns out the cop — who worked in the traffic division — was off duty at the time, working security for a movie shoot at a house across the street on Rockingham. Our sources say the officer took the knife home and kept it … kept it for years.

I’d be very afraid of LAPD.

In late January of this year, after the cop retired from the LAPD, he contacted a friend who worked in LAPD’s Robbery Homicide Division (RHD). The cop told the friend about the knife and said he was getting it framed to put on his wall. He wanted his friend to get the DR (Departmental Record) number for the Nicole Brown Simpson/Ronald Goldman murder case, which he planned on engraving in the frame.

We’re told the friend was indignant, and told his superiors. The brass was outraged and demanded that the retired cop turn the knife over, which he did.

Framed. That’s ironic. Wonder how many people this cop has actually framed.

Right now, LAPD has taken the weapon to the labs for testing. Something they should have done years ago, if only this shithead cop remembered his sworn duties. LAPD realizes there’s a lot more like him and aren’t taking any precautions.

The investigation is top secret. It’s been logged into the LAPD’s computer system outside the official case file to maintain security. Our sources say, since O.J. was found not guilty, it’s still an open case. That means cops can continue investigating, but O.J. cannot be prosecuted again — double jeopardy.

Even the LAPD doesn’t trust each other, so they have to hide this testing from lowlife cops.

Makes you wonder how much evidence has gone missing, or on the flip side, how much evidence has been planted by LAPD.

Its ashamed when you’re not white or rich enough to buy the Police. Didn’t OJ’s neighbor buy his home to destroy it, get rid of the evidence, but their it is.

Yeah, bummer OJ didn’t have the money to buy a “dream team” of attorneys.
If only he were white, maybe he would have be acquitted…

Double jeopardy is when youve already been found guilty (and served the sentence?), you cant be prosecuted again for the same crime.

Sad, it was his wealthy, racist neighbor’s knife.
