Apparently, no one was bidding very high on Katherine Heigl, because she’s the new face of Cat’s Pride Kitty Litter. I wonder if Psychic Source bid any higher to get Tori Spelling to pimp their garbage?

Considering multiple sites are reporting her current net worth is ranging from 25 million to 18 million (with more sites reporting the latter), I doubt she’s hurting for money. Many celbs do commercials. She also did two movies last year, two movies this year, and is currently filming a series. I mean I’d do a commercial for a few grand.

Many cat ladies started out being attractive, although not able to relate to the rest of the world, type people. Katherine has always struck me as that type. So it’s kind of a fit I guess.
I had heard she did this ad for a charity thing. I don’t know if that’s true or not, but other actors and actresses have done the same (as others have mentioned). That being said, she may have just wanted to take what she could get, while trying to repair her reputation as a “difficult” actress to work with. Who knows.
