Lady Gaga received an official invite from Ryan Murphy to come back for American Horror Story ‘s sixth season, and she just accepted it.
Last October Murphy tweeted:
Gaga responded to Murphy’s invite during an interview with Z100 where she said, after a lot of weird hesitation:
“I can’t promise you how or when, or anything like that.”
During an interview with E! News on the set of American Horror Story: Hotel, Gaga got real about the pressures and pitfalls of fame.
“I really hope, more than anything that anyone could take away from me being on Horror Story, I’d really, really like for artists and their managers and people in any industry to know the importance of caring for people that you work with, and keeping them in a good mental state and taking care of their health and making sure that we’re all OK. It’s important to work hard, and making money is important to survive, but what’s more important is that we support one another through the challenges of life.”
She spoke highly of working with Ryan Murphy, and even has said that working on AHS saved her, so at least we know he’s not driving her gaga or anything like that.
I’ll see myself out.
So far Lady Gaga and Angela Bassett are the only two cast members whose returns are confirmed.
