Misogynist nerds, don’t read this. Just quit now. You have yourself preoccupied with your meninist memes so please take your grievances and shove them in your fedora.
In an interview with GameSpot, Megan Fox shared what we’ve all been thinking. The revered men, fictional or otherwise, from some of the most iconic cinematic features in the history of humans, could also be revered women. When asked what video game character she’d like to play given the opportunity (if you’re still here nerds, I get it, she’s the vision sold to you by your game developers), she took a rather conservative approach at first, but went totally off the grid in her confusion:
I’ve always wanted to do Tomb Raider, but it’s been done–and very well. So I guess I’d go with Indiana Jones, since I always loved how fun and free-spirited Indiana is.
Megan Fox was born to be Lara Croft, but let’s face it… she’s rather blasé. It would be nice to see her step further out of her typecast — do something she’s hasn’t done before. It would be even better to see her do something no one else has done before. Indiana Jones is bound to get wonky soon so who says Harrison can’t pass the torch to Fox?
Tomb Raider already IS female Indiana Jones…
Seriously. But if we are going to go with a female Indiana Jones, I guess I can;t wait to see the new male Tomb Raider film.
Or better yet, make the Tomb Raider the Womb Raider and star Caitlyn Jenner banging chicks. That is a super progressive film idea.
