How Could He? Ed O’Neill Didn’t Recognize Britney Spears

Ed O’Neill has a lot on his mind. I mean he’s an old guy. He probably is too preoccupied with fishing trips, where to shop his next vest, wondering how to allocate funds to his never gonna grow up children, occasionally he does some filming for Modern Family, but it’s not acting. This is just who this man is. Because Ed O’Neill is such a busy man, this following story seems like an honest mistake.

While at LAX, a woman approached the Modern Family star:

Oh, Mr. O’Neill, I love ‘Modern Family,’ and you’re my favorite on the show.

Reluctantly, Page Six says he agreed for the photo op.

[She said,] ‘Could you please … and I know you’re in a hurry,’” O’Neill continued. “She couldn’t have been nicer. So I said, ‘Sure, fine, you know, okay.’ So she sat there, and we took it, and I said, ‘Have a nice trip. I’m going,’ and I left.
