The First Teaser for Christopher Nolan’s WWII Epic ‘Dunkirk’ is Here
Tbh if Donald Trump gets elected president, we’ll have all the real time WWII anyone could ever ask for, but Christopher Nolan is an incredible filmmaker and his upcoming film, Dunkirk, will probably be mind-blowing.
Written and directed by Christopher Nolan (obvi), the film tells the story of Operation Dynamo. During the battle of France, over 300,000 British, Belgian, and French troops were evacuated from where they were trapped in Dunkirk, surrounded by German forces and facing seemingly inescapable death. All this happened in just eight days.
Nolan absorbs us completely in the blood and tragedy of war using an innovative combination of IMAX cameras, traditional Panavision, and real vessels. If this hard hitting trailer is anything to go by, this movie will f**k us all up for life.
Dunkirk will be released July 21st, 2017.
