The Rock Called Out His ‘Fast and Furious 8’ Co-Stars as ‘Candy Asses’. Who’s He Talking About?

There was some point where The Rock went from someone transitioning to Hollywood into the world’s number one box office star. Name someone who can bring in the dollars like The Rock. No one. He’s got the greatest Instagram, he helps saves drowning people and he never takes himself seriously.

The guy gets up at 4am to start weightlifting, so you know he takes his work seriously.

That’s why he went in on a few co-stars from Fast 8, the next sequel in the Fast and Furious franchise. He gives credit to the crew and female cast:

This is my final week of shooting Fast & Furious 8. There’s no other franchise that gets my blood boiling more than this one. An incredible hard working crew. Universal Studios Entertainment has been great partners as well. My female co-stars are always amazing and I love ’em.

But for some of his guy co-stars, he tears them a new one.

My male co-stars however are a different story. Some conduct themselves as stand up men and true professionals, while others don’t. The ones that don’t are too chicken s**t to do anything about it anyway. Candy asses. When you watch this movie next April and it seems like I’m not acting in some of these scenes and my blood is legit boiling – you’re right.

So, who risks a beatdown by The Rock?

Here are the guys from Fast 8:

Tyrese Gibson
Vin Diesel
Ludacris
Scott Eastwood
Jason Statham
Kurt Russell
Lucas Black
Celestino Cornielle

Let the guesses begin.

Diesel seems like he’s into the franchise, so is Gibson. Ludacris seems cool with The Rock also. Check out the improvised scene below from a previous F&F. Seems like they’re tight.

Jason Statham has that vibe he could be phoning it in. He’s in it for the money and models. You just feel it. He risks a beatdown.

Who else does Rock wanna powerbomb? That leaves Eastwood, Russell, Black and Cornielle. I don’t even know this Cornielle dude. He’s so low on the ladder, it’s doubtful he’d give anything less than 100% with The Rock.

Black has an inspirational Twitter if you’ve read it. Go here. Dude feels like he’d be preaching on the set. He’s out.

I’m going with Eastwood based on his near onset fight with Brad Pitt and Shia LaBeouf during Fury. Basically, Eastwood kept spitting on a tank that Pitt and LaBeouf were riding in. Pitt and LaBeouf took it as disrespect.

I’m in the turret, Shia is at the other turret, and Scott is on the back, spitting juice. And I’m starting to get pissed off, I’m starting to get hot, because this is our home, he’s disrespecting our home, you know? So I said, in the scene with the cameras rolling, ‘You’re going to clean that s**t up.’ Shia clocks it, and you have to understand, we’ve been through severe boot camp already, we’ve been through a lot in this tank. Shia saw it and felt the same – he’s disrespecting our home. So Shia had the same reaction I did, and started having some words.” But it soon got out of hand, “then I had to get in after the cameras were rolling, and explain it to Scotty, you know…”

Eastwood also called LaBeouf a “complete pain in the ass” at the time. Referring to the tank spitting fight:

“Oh yeah. Complete pain in the ass. It’s too bad, he’s a great actor, but he’s shi*ting his career away…”

“We almost got into a fist fight. I was in the middle of a scene with Brad Pitt, and chewing tobacco. He wasn’t even in the scene, but he got it into his acting mind that he didn’t like what I was doing, so he said I couldn’t be spitting tobacco on ‘his’ tank. He told me to clean it up. I pretty much told him to f**k off, and Brad Pitt had to break it up! It was kinda funny. But I don’t get his deal. He wants to be a tough guy, I guess.”

Also, Eastwood comes off as douchey in interviews. In a recent Esquire interview with his dad Clint Eastwood, he implies that no one else on the Fast and Furious set is willing to learn like he is.

I remember something he [Clint Eastwood] told me early on. I don’t remember how old I was when you told me this, Dad. But you said, “As an actor, I never went back to my trailer. I always hung out on set and learned.” That stuck with me. I’m on this Fast and the Furious movie right now, and everyone goes back to their trailer. I stick around and say, “Why you are setting up the shot like this?” I want to learn.

Weak. Sounds like someone who wouldn’t say s**t to someone 6’4″ and 250 lbs. So yea, based on complete conjecture, Scott Eastwood is a candy ass.
