Fans walked out of Amy Schumer’s show on Sunday in Tampa, Florida after she had the audacity to call Donald Trump an “orange, sexual-assaulting, fake-college-starting monster.”
Schumer was so hurt that, at her New York show on Tuesday, she read a letter to those who walked out of the show.
Dearest Tampa,
I’m sorry you didn’t want me, a comedian who talks about what she believes in, to mention the biggest thing going on in our country right now. How could I think it was OK to spend five minutes having a peaceful conversation with someone with different views?
After the show, I want you to know that I will go straight to a rehab facility that will teach me how to make all people happy. Both the rich, entitled, white people who are gonna vote for him and the very poor people—who’ve been tricked into it!
And Tampa, I’m so sorry. I shouldn’t have said that he was an orange, sexual-assaulting, fake-college-starting monster. Shouldn’t have said that. I will never again say that he is an orange, sexual-assaulting, fake-college-starting monster! Never again!

I don’t think Amy really owed them an apology, but this just goes to show how crazy Floridians and Trump supporters are. They paid to see an Amy Schumer show and just figured she would stick to jokes about her vagina and sex life. That’s the kind of crazy and the kind of risk-taking that has gotten Trump this far.
Hopefully, Amy’s letter is able to calm things a bit and Florida is able to think rationally when they vote.
Amy Schumer is actually getting fatter as I watch her. Fat and stupid is no way to go through life.
