Get That Sexually Suggestive Pregnant Belly Out of My Face, Trainer Banned from Instagram for Showing Baby Belly

Pregnancy is much too sexy for Instagram.

Brittany Perille Yobe (@brittanyperilleee) is a fitness trainer who’s been posting ass-centric workouts on Instagram for almost two years. Showing and busting her butt has wracked up nearly a million followers. But when she posted a workout with her pregnant belly exposed, Instagram wasn’t having it.

Wearing a sports bra and leggings, there was nothing seemingly obscene about the photo. In fact, she’d posted many bare midriff photos in her time. According to Instagram’s community guidelines: “We don’t allow nudity on Instagram. This includes photos, videos, and some digitally-created content that show sexual intercourse, genitals, and close-ups of fully-nude buttocks. It also includes some photos of female nipples…” So keep those full screen naked butt shots off your Instagram account.

Despite the complete lack of nudity, Brittany was banned from Instagram. According to Cosmopolitan, the social network found that the photo violated their community guidelines. Maybe they were offended that the growing child inside her was nude. Or that if a woman’s pregnant it means she must have had sex, which is far too lascivious for the eyes of Instagrammers.

Some of her previous, more openly sexy photos were totally okay with the social site.

This was perfectly appropriate:

And even this almost full butt and side boob pic:

Though Brittany’s account has been reinstated by Instagram after her protestations, it’s deeply disturbing that an unseen fetus is inappropriate. Really, if a pregnant belly is too scandalous for you, save yourself the trouble and get off the internet forever.

How the f*** can a baby bump be obscene…?
