White Woman Records Crying Video After Listening to ‘Norf Norf,’ Vince Staples Defends Her

Stop everything you’re doing and watch this video. It’s the most important thing you’ll watch today so watch it in full. Take notes. Invite your friends over for a screening. Sample it on your mixtape.

Haven’t listened to the song in question? Live under a rock? Not know where good music is? Press play before we continue. While you’re jamming out, think back to those amazing moments when everything you needed was right in front of you. She might not have known it as she was making it, and I’m sorry she had to find out this way, but this woman is responsible for the funniest video ever recorded in earnest. I’m willing to stamp an ‘ever’ on that statement.

This is a song I listen to every single day. And I now get new enjoyment out of imagining people all over the world crying in offense to a work of art I hold dear to my heart. But Vince Staples, the creator of that work of art, holds a vastly different opinion than I do.

I don’t really have much to say about the video — I don’t think it’s funny at all. It’s not right to attack someone over their stance, their opinions, and their religion. I think that’s very immature.

I’m sorry for being intolerant, Mr. Staples.

It’s just not right that’s she’s being attacked. It’s not okay.

I’ve always had bullying tendencies. But, I’m laughing with her. Not at her.
