Y’all remember Extreme Makeover: Home Edition?
Honestly, I barely remember it. But these five adopted siblings whose parents used them to get a new house and then kicked them out after sure fucking do.
The Friday family got a home makeover in 2011, after they had just adopted five siblings. These kids even changed their last name to Friday, and spent the whole media circus talking about how much they loved their new parents.
Their new parents loved that new house more than they ever loved them, and after using them to get their house turned into an 8 bedroom mansion, had all 5 kids sent to a different group homes within a year for attitude problems.
The Fridays ran a Nonprofit Organization called “House of Hope” which show producers handed a store to and funneled money into.
That is some cold and shady s**t. You are fucked up if you manage to be more underhanded than reality TV.
Chris, former Friday child, told WSCOTV:
“What they did to us was just wrong. (They) threw us all out.”
“I know it was all about the money. From the first day, it was all about the money.”
Ouch.
