Dani Mathers, a Playboy model, did what every average to good looking guy or girl does in America at some point. She took a photo of someone who isn’t attractive, posted the photo on social media, and wrote a mean caption.
She’s now being charged with body-shaming, according to the LA Times.
At a LA gym, Mathers snapped a photo of a naked 70-year-old woman and posted it on Snapchat with the caption “If I can’t unsee this then you can’t either.” I’m sure if the caption was, “Keep working, girl!” or something more encouraging, this wouldn’t be an issue even though posting a picture of a naked woman without her consent seems more wrong than a hurtful caption.
Mathers defended herself by saying that the snap wasn’t meant to be public. Because, you see, shaming other people with your friends makes you a bad person, but not a criminal.
