Han Solo Wasn’t Playing Solo During Star Wars, Han & Leia Fanfiction Was a Reality

Carrie Fisher’s new book is coming out, so you know we’re going to get some prime Hollywood gossip.

In her new memoir, The Princess Diarist, she reveals a 3-month affair she had with Harrison Ford on the set of the first Star Wars.

The 19-year-old Fisher was seduced when she was more than a little tipsy by the 34-year-old, married Ford. At the time, Carrie didn’t have a lot of experience with the fellas and Harrison complained about her kissing skills. But Carrie returned fire by saying her first time doing it with Solo wasn’t all that great, but she had enough fun cause he was handsome.

The affair lasted 3 months and Carried completely fell in love. She said she’d fantasize about them getting married and Ford giving her a “gold band with diamonds (inscribed) ‘Carrison.'” Hopefully, Carrie demanded they be addressed as Carrison for the rest of the films, cause that’s a fantastic celebrity portmanteau.

After shooting was done, Han Solo was done shooting his business into Princess Leia and went back to his wife. Fisher doesn’t seem to hold any grudges or ill will, just amusement at her time with Ford. Unfortunately, they had to become on screen lovers after the affair ended, so that certainly made those love scenes a joy.

This is probably only one of many shady stories from Fisher and I for one can’t wait to hear more about her insane-o Hollywood life.
