Kanye West Gives 25-Minute Diatribe on the Greatness of Trump

Hopefully Kanye for President 2020 was a just a joke and never comes to be.

Recently, Kayne stopped his concert to deliver a 25 minute, unsolicited political rant. He didn’t speak about disappointment with Black Lives Matter getting brushed aside or how voter turnout was so low. No, he used his time to extoll the virtues of Trump.

Though Kanye didn’t vote this year, he said he would have voted for Trump.

“There’s things I liked about Trump’s campaign … There’s methods, non-political methods to speaking, that I like – that I feel were very futuristic. That style and that method of communication has proven that it can be a politically correct way of communication. And I f**k with that.”

So, Trumps methods of treating a Presidential run like it was a Friar’s Club roast was futuristic? Hmm.

Kanye also complained that he was told to keep his political views to himself. As a celebrity, he feels he can’t express his views and knows supporting Trump could effect his ticket sales for future tours.

Mr. West did clarify some concerns over the fact that he’d support a crazy bigot, who’s creating a cabinet of cartoon stereotypes of old Southern racists.

“[Voting for Trump] don’t mean that I don’t think that black lives matter; that don’t mean I don’t believe in women’s rights; that don’t mean that I don’t believe in gay marriage,” he continued, adding, “This world is racist, OK? Let’s stop being distracted to focus on that as much. It’s just a fucking fact: We are a racist fucking country, period.”

That still doesn’t answer why he still would have voted for someone with an incredibly anti-immigrant, anti-muslim stance. I guess Kanye figures his music alone will help women and minorities.

Mr. West-Kardashian did have some helpful tips of his own about the future of politics.

“I got some ideas about the way we should connect our ideas,” he said. “And we should use opposite parties that the Republicans and the Democrats – that everyone that ran that had an idea that people agreed with should be the collective ideas that are used to the run the country.”

I don’t know what that means. Should we just form a third party that combines every idea that everyone supported? That’s going to be tough to run on a platform of pro-life and pro-choice, big government, but also small government, and legalizing weed without making it too legal.

What a brilliant mind Kayne. Please stick to rapping.
