Lorde’s Next Album Is About Being an Adult

Honestly I wasn’t really that into Lorde until I found out she was really just Randy Marsh with autotune.

If you read the lyrics to any song from her first album Pure Heroine, it all reads pretty much like drunken gibberish, which I guess is pretty much what being a teenager is. She wrote on Facebook:

“Writing Pure Heroine was my way of enshrining our teenage glory, putting it up in lights forever so that part of me never dies, and this record – well, this one is about what comes next.”

I’m glad she put this out, because if she didn’t you would most likely listen to it whenever it comes out and think ‘The f**k is this?’

Lorde says album dos isn’t coming out anytime too soon, but it’s getting there.
