Queens Casino Tries to Switch Out $43 Million Dollar Prize For a Steak Dinner

I hope she punched them in the face.

Just like found some kinda way to punch the entire entity that is the Resorts World Casino in the face.

Katrina Bookman managed to somehow hit the cash ticket for $42,949,642,76 on a slot machine at the casino over the summer, and even managed to take a selfie with it. After she went to cash in her winnings, they told her there was a malfunction and that she wasn’t getting paid. She could however get a free steak dinner and go f**k herself.

Bookman told the NY Daily News:

“There was nothing wrong with it when I was playing the machine. How do we know when there’s a problem with it? Once I hit something, now you’re going to say it’s a problem. I totally don’t think that was fair.”

I mean, I’m not exactly a gambler, but doesn’t it seem kinda unlikely to win almost $43 million playing a slot machine in a janky casino? Like even more unlikely than winning money in any other way.

“You offer me a steak dinner? I feel like they did me real dirty.”

Bookman is suing them. Her lawyer claims that they had been using the broken slot machine to take people’s money and aren’t allowed to decide that it being broken is suddenly a problem when it’s inconvenient for them.

I hope they cooked her steak well, I guess.
