The ‘SNL’ Cold Open Was Not What You Expected

On Saturday night, Dave Chappelle hosted SNL with performances by A Tribe Called Quest. And if you were expecting a cold open featuring fake Donald and fake Hillary, think again. Kate McKinnon took to the piano to do a rendition of Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah” while dressed in her Hillary outfit. She finished with “I’m not giving up. And neither should you. And live from New York, it’s Saturday Night!”

Meanwhile, Chappelle had a great opening monologue, of course, and made a few digs at Donald Trump, of course, but at the same time he got real. Chappelle admitted he was going to give Donald a chance and that he hopes Donald gives the historically disenfranchised a chance too.

There was also this Walking Dead skit.

Oh and then at one point Chappelle squirted breast milk all over his face.
