Booker T, the five time, five time, five time, five time, five time World Heavyweight champion is planning on running for mayor of Houston in 2020.

Terry Gerin, better known to wrestling fans as Rhyno, recently ran for a seat on the Michigan House of Representatives. He didn’t win. But he had this to say about wrestling and politics mixing.

“Wrestling not only prepares you for life but it prepares you for positions like that because you feel the emotion from the people you know what they want, you’ve built yourself from where you were to where you’re at now.”

He failed to mention that outside of politics, wrestling is the most political business you can be in. There’s obviously precedent here with wrestlers winning major political elections. Jesse Ventura became the governor of Minnesota. And Donald Trump is the fuckin’ President.
