Taylor Swift Gives 96-Year-Old Veteran a Very Swift Christmas

Taylor Swift is trying really hard to get her sweetheart cred back after Kimye and a whole bunch of other relevant and irrelevant celebs turned on her after Kim revealed she was really 1000 mice in a person suit. Or something like that. Anyway.

She’s trying so hard she flew down to Missouri to surprise 96-year-old WWII vet Cyrus Porter with a surprise performance and hang out with his entire extended family for over an hour. Family member Caroline Fowler told E!:

“My Popo was ecstatic! He was grinning from ear to ear and even had tears in his eyes. The first thing he said to her was ‘How did you get here?’ He loved every moment. He told her how he was proud of his family, his country and Taylor Swift!”
