Wes Anderson Announces ‘Isle of Dogs’ Voice Cast and a Contest to Join Them

If you were wondering who’s participating in the latest Wes Anderson film, you have your answers.

Wes Anderson posted a video listing the voice cast for his new animated film Isle of Dogs.  The long list includes Scarlett Johansson, Bill Murray, Edward Norton, Bob Balaban, Tilda Swinton, Frances McDormand, Bryan Cranston, Jeff Goldblum, F. Murray Abraham, Harvey Keitel, Akira Ito, Akira Takayama, Koyu Rankin, Courtney B. Vance, Liev Schreiber and the biggest surprise of the cast, Yoko Ono. Hopefully she’ll abstain from singing.

This is Anderson’s second animated film after The Fantastic Mr. Fox. Though plot details are slim, we do know there will be at least one dog.

Of course, Wes wouldn’t make a video just to call out his acting cast. He also partnered with Crowdrise to announce a contest that helps raise money for the Film Foundation, Martin Scorsese’s foundation to preserve important films. Winners of the contest will get to visit the set and even voice a character in the film.

So, if you’ve always wanted to be in a Wes Anderson movie but aren’t famous or quirky enough, now is your chance!
