Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love‘s daughter, Frances Bean Cobain, has made her modeling debut in designer Marc Jacobs’ AW17 campaign.
Frances Bean Cobain is following in the footsteps of her mother, who appeared in his campaign last year. Jacobs explained why in an Instagram post on his personal account.
“I first met Frances Bean when she was two years old at a dinner with her mom (Courtney) and Anna Sui in 1994 at Bar Six in NYC,” he writes. “I have always wanted to work with Frances. Her beauty, uniqueness, and strength is something I have long admired and respected.”
This is pretty funny, considering in the early 90’s Courtney Love and Kurt Cobain burned the pieces of the grunge-inspired collection he sent them as a gift.
The times they are a-chaaaangin.
