Meryl Streep won the Cecil B. DeMille award at last nights Golden Globes and used the opportunity to talk a bit about politics. Though never calling him out by name, she said the worst performance of the year was when Donald Trump made fun of a disabled reporter during one of his speeches.
She went on to say that we must support strong journalism and not let hatefulness and violence become the new American norm.

Though I’m surprised he didn’t bust out the C-word, it’s another example of Trump reacting like a child when receiving criticism.
It’s a little sad to me that I thought Trump’s reaction would be so much worse, that these tweets feel pretty tame. Then I remember that the President doesn’t normally insult actors and actresses via Twitter and I remember that we’re living in a bizarro world.
