Jamie Lynn Spears’ Daughter Regains Consciousness After ATV Accident

Jamie Lynn Spears thought it was a great idea to let her 8-year-old daughter, Maddie, drive their Polaris ATV unsupervised.

She was proved horribly wrong when the child flipped over into a pond while driving and became critically injured on Sunday, only to regain consciousness today in the hospital.

The model of ATV the child was driving not only has a long history of similar accidents, where it flips over and almost kills the drivers, the instruction manual even tells parents to not allow any child under ten in the drivers seat.

In a statement from reps given to People, it was revealed that Maddie has regained consciousness and is doing well.

“[Maddie] is aware of her surroundings and recognizes those family members who have kept a round-the-clock vigil since the accident.”

Britney Spears niece is gonna be fine y’all.

“Doctors were able to remove the ventilator today and she is awake and talking. Maddie continues to receive oxygen and is being monitored closely but it appears that she has not suffered any neurological consequences from the accident.”

What a relief. Hopefully she’s back on her feet soon.
