Katy Perry Will Perform at the Grammys

Justin Bieber, Drake and Kanye may not find the Grammys important, but Katy Perry does. The Grammys confirmed Perry will perform next Sunday at the show.

Is this a way to counteract the press that Beyonce got from her pregnancy and that Lady Gaga got from her Super Bowl performance? Those two, along with Perry, Taylor Swift and Rihanna make up the current leaders in pop music. Perry’s a competitor so this is a way to stay in the public’s eye.

Plus, she’s rumored to be performing a new song, “Chained to the Rhythm”. It’s a new song that features Skip Marley.

Perry’s been vehemently opposed to Donald Trump, so perhaps she’ll throw in a curveball and tweak Emperor Baby Fists. It’s not too hard to do.
