The New England Patriots won the Super Bowl on Sunday. Here’s the thing about the New England Patriots: they aren’t very likeable. Tom Brady is kind of a smug douche, Bill Belichick hates everyone, they cheat a lot, and they win a lot. They’re also from Boston, home of obnoxiousness, and Donald Trump likes them. That last point is key.

Thus, a #NotMySuperBowlChamps hashtag began on Twitter. This follows the trend of #NotMyPresident and #NotMy2017 hashtags.
