First Pic of ‘Crazy Rich Asians’ Stars Together

Three of the Crazy Rich Asians cast posed for a group pic. Henry Golding, Constance Wu and Gemma Chan joined together to give a preview of what’s to come in the upcoming movie. No details on why they got together.

Golding plays Nick Young, one of Singapore’s richest bachelors, in Kevin Kwan’s bestselling book, Crazy Rich Asians. Wu plays Rachel Chu, an American-born Chinese Professor and Young’s girlfriend.

In the book, Young and Chu travel to Singapore for a friend’s wedding. Once Chu gets there, she finds out how rich and popular he is, and then the sharp elbows come out. Bitch gets shanked. That’s how it happens in my version at least.

Chan plays socialite Astrid Leong, Young’s cousin. Imagine Paris Hilton without the sex tape.

Jon M. Chu directs while Kwan produces. The film features an all-Asian cast, but not Asian enough for some. Just be happy Matt Damon doesn’t come down to save everyone.
