Johnny Depp Dressed as Jack Sparrow, Forced to Entertain Pirates of the Caribbean Riders

Johnny Depp decided to add some flare to one of the most boring rides at Disney. On Wednesday, he dressed up as Captain Jack Sparrow and surprised adventurers on the Pirates of the Caribbean ride.

Then years ago, Depp rode the POTC ride and got up close and personal with the animatronic version of himself. Check out how thrilled he is during the ride.

This is an obvious promotional ploy for Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, which is in theaters next month. But fair play to Depp for doing it. That said, if he really wants to promote the new movie, he should apologize for the old ones. Especially the last two. Apologize for them and maybe I’ll go see the new one.
