‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ Trailer Reveals a Whole Lot of Nothing

This morning the trailer for Star Wars: The Last Jedi was screened at Star Wars Celebration in Orlando, Florida according to Deadline. New photos and a teaser poster were also revealed. Let’s cut right to the chase and get a look at the good stuff.

The trailer gets away with revealing almost nothing about the movie, other than that Luke Skywalker is training Rey, and that a lot of Star Wars-type s**t is gonna happen. You know, explosions and a whole lotta badass space stuff. However, it is chock full of a few potential hints, which indicate that a lot of your faves will probably have a bad time in this film.

The Resistance and the First Order’s ships are duking it out and if the grim shots of Poe are anything to go by, he’s gonna be experiencing some high fantasy space suffering. Same goes for Kylo Ren, who doesn’t look like he’s doing so hot in the one shot we get of him.

In fact, as Uproxx points out, we get almost no information in this trailer. Where is everybody? Where is Rose? Where is Chewbacca? Both Laura Dern and Benicio Del Toro have roles in the film, but they are nowhere to be seen. A lot of people are fighting, but why?

Guess we’ll be kept guessing for a while more.

Ugh.

The film will be in theaters December 15th.
