Barron Trump Disturbed by Decapitated Dad Picture
It’s hard to one hundred percent sure know what reaction comedian Kathy Griffin was going for with her photograph of Donald Trump’s decapitated head. What she achieved was terrifying one 11-year-old boy: Barron Trump. The youngest Trump, who his dad has insisted is “the smart one,” was reportedly terrified of the image, which he saw on TV.
The first son (and let’s be real, Donald Jr. and Eric are certainly not the ‘first’ sons) reportedly thought Griffin’s image was real, and ran screaming from the room shouting, “Mommy, Mommy!” A TMZ source explained, “He’s 11. He doesn’t know who Kathy Griffin is and the head she was holding resembled his dad.”
There’s an obvious solution to this problem: Don’t let Barron watch news about his dad, it’s terrifying to the rest of us too. Whether it’s the Donald grinning like a supervillain while groping a mysterious orb, or the actual groping that he’s bragged about in public, the Trump administration is a scary thing. It’s certainly not intended for children. Papa Trump should make a family rule that his young son shouldn’t watch things that give him nightmares, up to and including his presidency.
Melania Trump blamed Kathy Griffin, and not her own bad parenting, saying that the situation “makes you wonder about [her] mental health.” President The Donald also called Griffin out on Twitter. Of course.
Kathy Griffin should be ashamed of herself. My children, especially my 11 year old son, Barron, are having a hard time with this. Sick!

Griffin herself has since apologized.
