Porn at the Train Station Sounds Great for Getting More Riders

So, so many levels to this story. Last night, people at Washington DC’s Union Station caught women masturbating and sucking dildos. Hold up, that’s only part of the story.

The other part is that these were PornHub videos streamed to Union Station’s ad kiosks. PornHub’s really upping their viral game.

It happened Monday evening around 5:30 pm. The kiosks, which normally display ads and directories, instead showed black dildo sucking among other sex acts. Definitely what everyone needs to see during commute hours.

Beverly Swaim-Staley, president and CEO of the Union Station Redevelopment Corporation, says the displays may have been hacked (Russia, definitely Russia) since the displays are controlled remotely. Swaim-Staley says “With all this new technology comes a lot of things we don’t expect.” Like streaming porn at the train station?

People walking by had surprised reactions. One dude walked by and said “What the hell is this?” Bro, if I have to explain it to you…

Some people stopped, stared and snickered, while others cautiously approached the screen, trying to figure out how to turn it off.

I get the snickering and staring because seeing porn on a huge screen at a train station is like Christmas in May. Approaching a video screen “cautiously”? That I don’t get. This isn’t one of those interactive screens. No jizz is gonna come shooting out at you through the display.

Eventually, someone shut the display off.

Finally, an employee of the fast-casual restaurant Roti came over to the screen, and instructed another person on how to shut off the digital display, according to the woman who captured the incident on video. That woman, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because she did not want an article about porn to come up when people Google her name, said other travelers took out their phones to record, too.

Gizmodo obtained censored and uncensored footage from this anonymous tipster. She’s really smart about this whole Google search results thing. Having your name come up when you search ‘train porn’ is a bit hard to explain away. “No, no…You don’t understand…I was only filming it!”
